CopyPaste is a system utility that greatly simplifies managing your Smartphone. CopyPaste does exactly what its name says in any editable field – edit box. Copy or cut the info from an edit box and paste it to another one. You can also select the necessary part of the edit box contents for copying or cutting to another editable field. CopyPaste saves your time and ink.
Sometimes every Smartphone user has to face the difficulty of transfering text from one edit box (any default editable field) to another on your Smartphone. Say, you need to copy a phone number from e-mail and send an sms to this number. In this case, thou funny it may sound, you still have to use a banal pen to write down the number and use it later for writing an sms. This is a big drawback of Windows Mobile platform for Smartphones. VITO CopyPaste has been developed to solve this problem with edit boxes and make Windows Mobile for Smartphones more functional.
To install VITO CopyPaste you copy the setup file to your Smartphone and run it. A second later you can bring up a context CopyPaste menu in any default edit box by press'n'holding the central joystick button. In this menu there are options to copy or cut all the text in the currently active edit box, or else choose selection mode and select the part of the text you need to copy or cut by pressing left and right joystick buttons. After you have copied or cut the necessary part of text to clipboard, you can paste it into another edit box.

Installation:
- Download the CAB file and transfer it to your device. Do not open the CAB file as if it is a ZIP file.

- Scroll down and open HKEY_LOCAL_MAC...
- Scroll down and open Security then Policies then Policies (again).
- Use the left soft key to switch from keys to values.
- Scroll down and open 000001023.
- Select Value Data.
- Change the value to 1.
- Press Done.
- Press the back button until you are all the way back to the Start Menu.
- Soft reset (cycle the power) your phone for the change to take effect.

Spybot-S&D for Windows Mobile uses a lightweight version of the detection engine of Spybot-S&D for Windows to detect threats for Windows Mobile and Symbian both, the later because Bluetooth worms could spread over OS borders, and while they would not perform on an incompatible OS, they would still waste precious space on the device.
Installation instructions: Please download the version for your device (there are different version for Pocket PCs and Smartphones) from our download page, then copy the file to your device through ActiveSync. Open the devices file manager and click on the file, and the installation will start. If you want to download it on the device itself, just point it at http://mobile.spybot.info/ and download and install from there. After the installation, you should have a Spybot-S&D icon in your programs group.
The current application version is 0.3, using engine version 1.5.

Virtual Earth Mobile (VEM) is an application for Pocket PC 2003, Smartphone 2003, and Windows Mobile 5.0 devices that displays maps and satellite photography, and locates businesses by name or category within a geographical area. The data is downloaded from the MSN Virtual Earth servers that power http://virtualearth.msn.com. Unlike many other mapping programs, the map data is not preloaded onto the device; it is downloaded on demand. The disadvanatge to this is that an internet connection is required. The advantage is that you do not need to decide what maps to preload, and you need very little storage space. VEM will cache map data as you view it, which improves performance, and allows you to view cached maps when you do not have an internet connection.
The Virtual Earth servers contain detailed images only for the United States at the moment, though I expect that to change over time.
VEM is not digitally signed, therefore if you have a Smartphone that does not allow unsigned applications to run (for example, the Pantech PT-S800, Sprint i600 or Sprint i930), it will not run.
To install, download this CAB file and copy it to your Smartphone or Pocket PC. The same file works on both device types. Copy the CAB to your device and click on it to install.

Navigation
When viewing a map, you can pan the map north, south, east, and west using the directional pad (also known as the D-pad, or the arrow keys). The Action button in the center of the directional pad will zoom in one level. On a Smartphone the * key will zoom out and the # key will zoom in.
Menu items
Address - Lookup an address: Brings up a map of a particular address, for example, "429 Columbus Ave, Boston MA". You can also enter the name of a place, for example, "North Dakota".Go to Lat/Long: Brings up a map of latitude/longitude coordinates you specify.Map type - Change the map type: Allows you to choose the map type, either "road", "aerial", or "road and aerial". "Road and aerial" is a hybrid type that overlays roads on top of an aerial or satellite photograph.
Zoom - Set the zoom level
GPS - Global Positioning System: Brings up a map of your current location, as reported by a GPS device. Obviously, this requires GPS hardware. Use the GPS control panel on the Pocket PC to specify which COM port the GPS device is connected to. There is no corresponding control panel on Smartphone, so this will not work on Smartphone. I hope to have a control panel available soon. Currently, the GPS feature is only enabled on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices, because it uses a new feature only available in 5.0. It is disabled on 2003 devices.
Find a business: Enter either the name of a business ("Charlie's Sandwich Shoppe") or a category ("Restaurant") and VEM will show you a list of all such businesses that are located within the area viewed by the current map. You can then pick one and VEM will show you a street-level map of that business.
Find a contact: Pick a person from your Contacts list, and display a map of that person's address, as listed in your Contacts. Currently, this feature is only enabled on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices, because it uses a new feature only available in 5.0. It is disabled on 2003 devices.
Options: You can set the maximum amount of storage space on the device to use for downloaded maps. A larger amount means better performance and the ability to view more maps when not connected to the internet. You can also specify where the downloaded data should be stored: either in the built-in storage of the device, or on a removable storage card (an SD card). If you specify a removable storage card but no card is in the device, the built-in storage will be used instead.
